In addition, he’s trained with Zuckerberg and has nothing but good things to say about him when speaking to TMZ.
“I was pretty shocked,” Musumeci said. “He’s a grinder. He’s got that grind in him. When I saw that, I said, “Okay, he can be very good at MMA or Jiu-Jitsu,” because, first of all, he has the highest IQ, but he’s also tough. And he’s a strong guy. He’s my size, you know, and he’s really strong for my size.”
“Darth Rigatoni” was also impressed by how quickly Zuckerberg could grasp concepts and turn them into action – boding well for his future development.
“You show him a move once and he knows right away, he’s that type of guy. He has so much potential,” he said.
And while a potential fight against Musk may never materialize, Zuckerberg has hinted that he’d love to step into a cage and take on a pro. His training sessions even went so far that he put a cage in his garden. Musumeci is excited for what might come next.
“Everything he does is 100%, so if he’s interested in MMA, he’ll put a cage in the backyard. It’s so interesting to see him improve and progress – I’m fascinated by it, it’s like this crazy science experiment.”
Musumeci next fights Japanese legend Shinya Aoki at ONE Fight Night 15, starting at 3am Mecca time.
