The Match is back and has struck NFL Quarterback Gold.
PGA professionals are out and signalling–Callers are up this summer as Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will take on newcomers Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in a 12-hole event on June 1 in Las Vegas.
As with previous editions of The Match, players have open mics throughout the game and can engage in conversations, per SIbut the gossip has already begun for these fiercely competitive quarterbacks.
Brady was quick to joke and poked fun at Allen on social media.
Allen didn’t wait long to reply.
“This should be fun,” Mahomes answeredwhile Allen continued recording:
Brady and Rodgers will be teaming up this time, having previously played each other in The Match last summer, with Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau defeating Brady and Phil Mickelson. Brady continues to look for his first win at the event, having also lost to Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods in 2020 with Mickelson.
Meanwhile, Allen teamed up with Keith Mitchell at this year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but the duo came up short and failed to make the 54 hole cut. Mahomes is relatively new to the televised golf circuit, although he was a fixture at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe, per CBS sports.
