The former Kerala state cricketers travel to Coimbatore this time to take part in the Friendship Cup tournament which is scheduled to take place on 3 December 2022. KOC will take on the Kerala Veterans Cricketers (KVC) which also consists of state level cricketers.
The concept of the KOC was realized in 2013 with the aim of bringing together all former state cricketers under one roof. The Friendship Cup is sponsored by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) and the tour is sponsored by the Consolidated Shipping Group and Blue Ocean Corporation.
Players representing the KOC team include Shajil Balan (Captain), Rejee Mohan, Fida Asghar, Hareesh M Haridas and Prajeet. P Shith. P, Sasikanth.S, Balaji Narayanan, Riyaz Ali, Shibu Nair, Santhosh Subramaniam, Noufal PP.
