Last weekend we narrowly missed out on a consecutive winner in Tommy Fleetwood (+3000) at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Let’s see if we can get a nice payout at the BMW Championship this week.
This week’s event will be held at Olympia Fields Country Club. The 108-year-old course is a par 70 approximately 7,350 yards of bluegrass greens.
Patrick Cantlay has won the last two editions of this event, held at the Wilmington Country Club and Caves Valley.
An important note from a gambling standpoint, but this is the first event in a long time where Scottie Scheffler is not the favourite. That honor goes to Rory McIlroy, who opened at +650.
When it comes to betting on the tournament, we offer everything you need from odds to best bets.
Let’s dive into the action.
FAVORITES
McIlroy enters the tournament at +650, closely behind is Scottie Scheffler at +700. Jon Rahm is third on the odds board (+1000), followed by Cantlay, whose odds on a three-pointer are +1000 on FanDuel Sportsbook. Xander Schauffele (+1600) completes the top five favorites.
Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s move on to the top 10 picks and my portfolio for this tournament.

“The Gimme”
Russell Henley Top 20 (-110)
This course is tough but Henley’s game should be fine. He’s in great form too, with nine top 20 finishes in his last 12 events. I bet he’ll be making more of these this week.
TOTAL BETS TO PLACE
Jon Rahm +1000
Viktor Hovland +1600
Collin Morikawa +1800
if you keep following me Twitter, you know, I love betting on long shots (greater than +3000). There’s just something exciting about holding a lottery ticket in your hand well into the Sunday. It also gives you multiple hedging options if you want to eliminate some of your risks.
Here are a few people worth spending some pizza money this week.
MORE BETS TO MAKE
Hideki Matsuyama +3500
Cameron Young +4000
Lee Hodges +11000
