Odds, Predictions for the RBC Canadian Open 2023: Favorites and Picks from the Field

This week, the PGA Tour travels north of the border to the RBC Canadian Open. The event will be held at Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Toronto.

This is the first time the tournament has been held in Oakdale. The course is a par 72 course measuring 7,264 yards.

Rory McIlroy is the defending champion and has won the last two tournaments including the 2019 edition, with the 2020 and 2021 tournaments being canceled due to COVID-19. McIlroy is the favorite to win (+450 on FOX Bet) and subtract the potential three-peat.

A few quick notes. With the US Open taking place next weekend, this tournament will not feature all of the top golfers. And in bigger golf news, the PGA Tour has agreed to a merger with LIV Golf. How that affects player focus and psyche this week and in the future remains to be seen. We can only keep the train moving for now.

Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s dive into the favorites and my overall portfolio for this tournament.
