The bout takes place as part of a stacked map for ONE Fight Night 2 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore, and the Turkish challenger is excited for the opportunity to take on one of the best in the world.
Ozcan (88-9-3) enters the fight, making only his third appearance in ONE, but has a fearsome reputation in the kickboxing world.
Grigorian (65-12-1-1) is well established and a former Glory lightweight champion. Last time out, he took reigning ONE Kickboxing Featherweight Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn to the distance as he fought for the title.
It’s the perfect opponent for fifth-placed Ozcan as he continues to climb the ranks – and seeks a chance at Superbon himself – a fight he could secure with a win this weekend.
After a narrow split decision loss in his ONE debut last October, Ozcan bounced back with a win over Enrico Kehl. In the last five years he has built a dominant record, just that one loss in 15 fights since April 2017.
For Grigorian, he will be looking for a trilogy fight against Superbon. In 2018 he won Knockout of the Year after a stunning finish against the current champion, but with the scores now tied in a fight he will be keen to secure a rubber match.
With so much at stake for both men, expect fireworks when they meet on the main map of ONE Fight Night 2, which will also feature the much-anticipated match for the World Strawweight Championship when champion Xiong Jing Nan Angela Lee defends her title against Atomweight Queen while a first-ever Submission Grappling Champion is crowned when Mikey Musumeci takes on Cleber Sousa.
You can watch Tyfun Ozcan take on Marat Grigiorian in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing Division in an incredible fight night at ONE Fight Night 2. For more information, see
