This championship is governed by the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Basketball Federation and is supported by Sport360, Bella Contact Lenses, Mai Dubai and 961 Slash.
Six teams, Oryxes – Champs – Ballers Nation – Sparks – Mirdif Falcons – Phoenix fought for the title. The tournament was played at Champs Sports Club Jebel Ali and all matches will be streamed on Sports Mania Facebook page.
Exciting game weeks lead 4 teams to the semifinals. The Champs team clinched victory over Phoenix with Sana Tchalabi being named MVP of the game. Oryxes triumphed over Ballers Nation inspired by a great performance from Match MVP Orlaith Woods and Sara Youssef.
Champs faced Oryxes in a tough final match that ended in the last second in Champs’ favor with a final score of 53-52.
At the end of the game, in the presence of Legend & Champs owner Mr Fadi El Khatib and Bella Contact Lens UAE Business Development Manager Mr Charbel Kanaan, individual and team prizes were distributed as follows:
