The game started with Juan Jauretche’s opening goal, but CAFU’s Dubai Wolves quickly caught up and finished the game at 1 as both teams showed great ability in defense. Both teams showed great skill during the 2nd chukker but it was IFZA Habtoor Polo who kept the ball and the 2nd chukker ended with IFZA Habtoor Polo scoring 3-2.
It was at the start of the 3rd chukker, the Dubai Wolves team patron of CAFU came through and pulled off a nice shot that tied the game to 3 goals. The IFZA Habtoor Polo was not neglected and Bautista Bayugar took the lead for the team.
Not long after Carlos Ulloa leveled the game with just 20 seconds left on the clock. Towards the end of the last chukker, it was Bayugar who prevailed and led his team to victory in the subsidiary match.

In the final game, AM Polo took the lead and kept it 5-3 until the end of the 2nd chukker. During the 3rd chukker, Lucas Monteverde Jr. scored the first goal for the UAE Polo team.
Benamin Urquiza and Isidro Strada finished the 3rd chukker with great sportsmanship shown by both teams. In the 4th chukker, UAE Polo made a comeback with 4 consecutive goals for their team and found themselves in the end with an 8 to 7 advantage.
It all boiled down to the last chukker where we saw both teams score a goal each. With a 30-yard penalty, AM Polo improved the game as both teams eyed the Silver Cup.
With just 28 seconds left to go to the final, UAE Polo team scored another goal which AM Polo failed to defend and in the end it was UAE Polo team that won the 2023 IFZA Silver Cup trophy.
