Last week we won big at RBC Heritage against long-shot Matthew Fitzpatrick (+3000 on FOX Bet). Let’s see if we can replicate the magic as we turn our attention to TPC Louisiana for the Zurich Classic.

The course, designed by Pete Dye, is a par 72 with a length of 7,425 yards. This event has a unique format that focuses on team play rather than stroke play. In this format, 80 teams play two rounds of Best Ball and two rounds of Alternate Shot.

patrick cantlayXander Schauffele are big bet favorites to win the tournament, +300 at FOX Bet.

Now that we’ve started with the basics, let’s move on to the favorites and my absolute portfolio for this tournament.

Odds for the filled field at FOX Bet

It’s hard not to love Cantlay and Schauffele this week. Although they are the best squad on paper, the format makes this an event where you have to take some risks. Here are other teams worth splashing a few bucks on to win it all.

Sungjae Im & Keith Mitchell +1300 on FOX bet

This is one of the most balanced teams at the event and this course plays to the strengths of both golfers. The metrics speak for them too. According to Data Golf, both players rank in the top 20 in the tee-to-green game over the past 50 rounds. Im hitting the ball great and going into this tournament last week in seventh place, his sixth straight top-25 finish.

Matt Fitzpatrick & Alex Fitzpatrick +3000 on FOX bet

I’m going back to the Fitz Well this week. Chemistry goes a long way in a team format, and if you’ve watched Netflix Full swing, you know these brothers share a special bond. There’s not much more to say about Matthew other than that he proved why he’s one of the best golfers in the world last weekend by taking on Jordan Spieth and winning. Alex has finished in the top-25 in his last four OWGR events.

Joel Dahmen & Denny McCarthy +3500 on FOX bet

Was there a more likeable character? Full swing as a dame? He has raw talent and team play could be the perfect, laid back setting for his style. Their skills complement each other too, with Dahmen having the game from tee to green while McCarthy is one of the best putters.

David Lipsky & Aaron Rai +5000 on FOX bet

These two teamed up here last year and finished fourth. Rai goes into this event fired up, having won seven straight starts and 12 of his last 13 shots from tee to green. Both putters are suspect, which is why you get odds for so long. But if even one of them can get it started, they have a chance to make a run.

Just missed: Sahith Theegala & Justin Suh
